Our Values
I've done community work for more than a decade across Ohio. The common denominator of effective community growth is trust. It doesn't come from everyone agreeing all the time, but rather, an understanding that we all want what is best for Grandview and our kids. It comes from community leadership that you know shares that goal. An accessible neighbor that genuinely listens when you share your hopes and concerns for our shared home. A leader who shows up, does the work, and takes the time to find a way forward.

Each generation has done their part to care for Grandview Heights. I want to usher in a new chapter of leadership for our community. We have made incredible investments and seen historic growth in the past decade. I am asking for your vote to be a steady hand that builds upon that progress.
Below are some of the aspirations and plans I have for our community. First though, where any progress should begin, is with values. These are the values I share and see in Grandview Heights that must dictate how we continue to grow and thrive.

- Leading as a Neighbor
You should know your City Council members. We are your neighbors. I will be accessible and want to hear your concerns and hopes for our community.

- A Welcoming Grandview
Our community is a home for people who own, rent, work, worship and have fun. I am proud to raise a family in a community that welcomes people from all walks of life. We should always ensure there are welcoming pathways into Grandview.

- A Leader and a Partner in Central Ohio
Central Ohio is growing. Grandview Heights offers so much to inform and shape that growth. My entire career has been partnership and community building. I want to deepen our connection and teamwork with our partners at MORPC, Franklin County Public Health, COTA and the many other municipalities and organizations that contribute to the fabric of this community. Central Ohio should continue to know they have a dedicated partner in Grandview Heights.

Our Future

Maintaining Our Incredible Local Services
Our community is among the smallest in the state to have all local trash, fire, roads, parks, and police services. I helped lead the Issue 32 campaign to ensure that those services and the truly outstanding city staff who care for us will be here for years to come. As your council person, I will always prioritize high quality, local services.

Invest in a Green Grandview
Our community is home to wonderful trees and vibrant green spaces. I serve on the Grandview Heights Parks Advisory Board to ensure we treasure those resources that make for a healthier, cooler, more active community. I will ensure the city remains committed to high quality parks that always look for new ways to create physically engaging places that celebrate nature and welcome people.

A Safer, Multi-Mobile Future
This community should be a safe haven for us and our kids, no matter how they are getting around. We need to comprehensively understand cars in our community. I want to undertake a comprehensive study to understand:
- the city's need for parking and how we protect it when needed
- understanding automobile speed and traffic flow across the community
- how we make space for a plethora of multi-modal options
...But most importantly - How We Keep People Safe

One way we can do that is advocating to see that the rail line along Goodale Boulevard is transformed into a multi-modal path that connects with the new LinkUS Bus Rapid Transit line being built by COTA.

Ensuring Community Plans become Community Realities
We have exciting community plans for Goodale and Grandview Ave that show the great promise for how our community can grow while maintaining our unique character. I will do my part to ensure these plans are realized. We should always have an eye on the future and how we invest in these uniquely Grandview spaces.
